We offer Live Scan fingerprinting and ink fingerprinting services to the general public. Live Scan digitally captures an individual's fingerprints so that they may be transmitted electronically to the State of California Department of Justice and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Ink fingerprinting is done on hard cards and are then submitted by the applicant to the appropriate agency. Fingerprints are then cross-referenced to the criminal database to check an applicant's criminal history. Live Scan is usually required for employment, licensing, and certification within the State of California. Ink fingerprints may be required for jobs out of state and foreign adoptions. If you require Live Scan fingerprints, then you must have the REQUEST FOR LIVESCAN SERVICE FORM from the agency that is requiring you to be printed. If you need ink fingerprinting, then you must have the proper ink card(s) provided to you by the requesting agency.

- Make sure you have a Live Scan form or ink fingerprinting card before making an appointment
- To make an appointment, please call (818) 238-5340.
- When making an appointment, we will need your name, phone number, and type of application (what you are being fingerprinted for).
- Please bring your Live Scan form or ink fingerprinting card and an ID (driver’s license or passport) to your appointment.
- We accept cash only, no exceptions.
- The Live Scan or ink fingerprinting process will take between 10-15 minutes.
