The City of Burbank is hosting a community meeting to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about ongoing planning efforts by the California High Speed Rail Authority to construct a high speed train system that would pass through the City of Burbank. The Authority's planning team is refining station location alternatives for a single station serving the San Fernando Valley. One of the alternatives being considered is a station located in Burbank near the Bob Hope Airport.
Interested members of the community are encouraged to attend this informative meeting to ask questions of the Authority's representatives and provide input on the project. Input received at this meeting will help the City provide comments to the project planners before they present their findings to the Authority Board of Directors in July.
For more details, see the attached notice. Additional information can also be found on the City of Burbank's High Speed Rail project page.
