Gary Bric is a lifelong resident with a contagious dedication to his community and public service.
Gary was elected to the Burbank City Council in 2007, named Vice-Mayor in 2008 and Mayor in 2009. He has lived in Burbank since 1953 and has an extraordinary record of civic participation including memberships in the Elk and Moose Clubs, Burbank Men’s Golf Club, California Restaurant Association and Chamber of Commerce.
His important board work includes time on the City’s Traffic and Transportation Committee, Valley Economic Alliance, Sister City Committee, Transit Services Task Force, and the League of California Cities.
Since 1993, he has owned and operated The Ramp restaurant where he has the privilege of interacting directly with so many of his fellow citizens.
He is a 1970 graduate of Burbank High School and attended the University of Portland and Los Angeles Valley College. Gary is married to Shelly and his stepson Jason proudly serves in the Marine Corps.
